DANCE CLASSES
Ballet: students are
to wear the navy/pink school leotard and navy chiffon skirt. Pink ballet tights. Leather ballet
shoes/pointe shoes. Hair to be secured
in a bun. Optional headband/scrunchie.
Jazz & Tap: MDC
navy/pink leotard, MDC dance shorts or ¾ leggings. Optional headband/scrunchie.
Black jazz shoes/tan tap shoes. Shiny jazz tights will be worn for
exams/performances.
CHEER CLASSES
Students may wear any combination of the following to
classes:
· MDC navy/pink leotard
· MDC navy or pink crop top – two styles to choose
from
· MDC bike pants/shorts/leggings
· MDC navy or pink singlet top – two styles to
choose from
· MDC navy polo
· Any Cheer/Dance clothing purchased at official
events
Correct shoes must be worn to all cheer classes, students
taking Pom & Dance in the cheer programme must also bring jazz shoes to class.
Hair must be out of the student’s face for all cheer
classes, optional to use the MDC headband/scrunchie.
Other optional items for all dance & cheer classes:
MDC tracksuit
MDC dance/cheer bag
Headband/scrunchie
Please encourage your children to change into their dance
and/or cheer shoes once inside the venues. This will help keep shoes at their best. Please also remember a water
bottle/hand towel for class.
All classes have a NO JEWELLERY policy – this is both for
safety and to avoid loss of such.
Parents are reminded all classes have a NO VIEWING policy –
we encourage you to attend our open days held throughout the year to view your
child’s progress.
